OUR TAKE: Winning $36 for over a thousand dollar scratch card play is not a good return. The prizes for scratchies are often lower than most lotteries, and there's little way of knowing whether the main prizes have been taken. The lottery gives greater prizes with less investment, and still remains the best type of game to play.
