It's been won! So when will the California $522 million Mega Millions winner collect the prize?

Only one winner matched matched all six numbers drawn to win the Mega Millions jackpot of $522 million on June 7.
The final jackpot amount was adjusted from $530M based on actual sales. The winner could also choose the $340,065,146 lump sum cash value.
This amount is the largest jackpot won since the $1.5 billion jackpot last October, and the seventh largest in the history of the game.

The winning numbers for June 7 are the white balls 17, 19, 27, 40 and 68, plus the gold Mega Ball 2.

The jackpot had been rolling since it was last won in Missouri on March 12, reported the Mega Millions Lottery.
Other jackpots won this year include:
$437 million in New York on January 1
$273 million in New Jersey on March 1.
In addition to the June 7 jackpot-winning ticket, there were 1,711,340 other winning tickets at all prize levels. Three tickets matched the five white balls to win the game’s $1 million second prize; they were sold in Arizona, California and Washington.
For matching four white balls plus the Mega Ball, 48 tickets won the $10,000 third prize in Friday’s drawing. Five of those are actually worth $30,000 each because they included the optional Megaplier.
In this jackpot run, there were more than 18.9 million prizes won, including the jackpot and 39 other prizes of $1 million or more.
The next drawing on Tuesday, June 11, resets to its starting value of $40 million ($26.0 million cash).
THE $522 MILLION JACKPOT HAS BEEN HERE BEFORE:
Just to confuse things, Mega Millions drew the exact $522 million amount almost a year ago, drawn on Tuesday July 24, 2018.
But that jackpot was later revised based on final sales to $543 million, or $320.5 million in cash.
The 2018 winning ticket was sold at a Ernie’s Liquors in San Jose, California.
Ernie’s Liquors got up to $1 million for selling the winning Mega Millions ticket.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 pm ET. Five white balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70; one gold Mega Ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 25. You win if the numbers on one row of your ticket match the numbers of the balls drawn on that date. There are nine ways to win a prize, from $2 to the jackpot. If no one wins the jackpot, the money is added to the jackpot for the next drawing.
