Here's One Million Good Reasons To Own A Lottery Store

"I feel good! I feel good!" said the owner of the gift shop which sold one of the two near-record $636 million Mega Millions tickets drawn last Tuesday.

"I'm a lucky person," said Thuy Nguyen, who has owned Jenny's Gift & Kids Wear in San Jose, California for just four months.

And no wonder.

Yesterday he was given a whopping $1 million bonus for being the retailer selling one of the winning tickets. California lottery rules give the retailer a 0.5% of the prize up to $1 million.

But before you decide to open a lucky lottery shop and make your fortune, here's a word of advice...

There's no such thing as a 'lucky' store. Just like the lottery itself, a winning store is built on the flow of a large number of customers.
