Law student ends late night's study session with a $226,000 lottery win

Chesapeake resident and law student Alexis Borrero couldn’t sleep.
So the full-time student decided to go online and play a Virginia Lottery game to relax.
She settled on the VIP Ultra game when she saw how big the jackpot was, and later told lottery officials. “I had a feeling.”
Her instincts were right, and Alexis ended up winning that same jackpot worth $226,351.
“It was an amazing feeling!” she said. “It’s a feeling I’ve never had before!”
Alexis also works as a bartender while a full-time student studying criminal justice.
She said she intends to pay bills with her winnings and invest the rest of the winnings
