Crazy 6-6-6-6 ticket combo gave 78 Mississippi Lottery winners $5,000 each

In one of the strangest ticket number twists, 78 Mississippi Lottery players won a total of $320,000 with ticket combinations of 6-6-6-6.
The 78 winners all played the new Cash 4 draw-style game introduced last month, and won with the number combination of 6-6-6-6 for each ticket.
That meant the Feb. 3 drawing resulted in 50 prize-winning $1 tickets, giving $5,000 for each winner.
Another 28 players had bought 50-cent tickets, which won them $2,500 each.

The Cash 4 game, which launched on Jan. 10, has drawings every day and releases the winning numbers each night by 10 p.m. Central time, says the Mississippi Lottery’s website.
The cost to play ranges from 50c to $24.
For each Cash 4 game, players choose a set of four numbers from 0 to 9. Players must be 21 years of age or older to play the games of the Mississippi Lottery.
