Occasionally lottery winners will emerge from their anonymous hiding places to answer questions about being a lottery multi-millionaire.

But not many do. And they usually keep their identity a secret, like this Reddit lottery winner.

So it was great to follow Timothy Schultz on his road to riches and beyond in this video.

The Iowa resident was 21 years old when he won a $28 million Powerball jackpot.

He was the youngest lottery winner in history for the 1999 game.

Timothy had let the computer pick his numbers for the Feb. 10 draw; 10, 20, 27, 31, 42, and the Powerball 26.

After he finished work at the gas station where he was saving to continue his schooling, he went back to his parent’s home.

"My father woke me up and told me to check the numbers," Tim said.

He had bought the winning ticket at the store where he worked, and when he checked, he’d won!

"It's like a dream and I still can't believe it." Tim said at the check presentation.

Tim chose to take the cash value option and received a check for $15.9 million.

He was accompanied at the news conference by his father, mother, brother and attorneys, and told the group his plans.

"I am going to take a trip to the Bahamas, take some time to travel to some other places, and attend school full-time as opposed to part-time," Timothy said.

In this no-holds-barred AMA (ask me anything) interview 23 years later, he was asked about his experience and the thrill of winning a vast sum of money:

0:40 How much did you win?
2:33 What did you buy?
3:37 Have you ever been taken advantage of?
6:09 Does money buy you happiness?
7:38 Should I enter the lottery?
